PADI Rescue Diver program is both an instructive and entertaining program. This program helps trainees to gain advanced theorical knowledge as well as advanced skills and experience for practice.

 

COURSE STRUCTURE AND STANDARDS

 The course program includes instructor and video supported aids, both in water and on ground, for gaining rescue skills on a scenario based approached.

Being a performance based training, likewise all PADI programs, the course duration is approximately 25-30 hours where open water practices can be completed within minimum of 2-3 days.

 Open water practices for the Rescue Diver course includes:

Self-aid and diver stress
Emergency utilization of oxygen systems
Diver’s first aid
Surface and underwater rescue techniques
Management of emergency
Emergency Equipment and use
Response to diver in panic
Problems that may occur when underwater
Finding lost diver and rescue practices
Rescue of unconscious underwater and surfaced diver  
Artificial respiration at surface
First aid against pressure-based accident
Accompanying the survivor and taking out of water

COURSE PREREQUISITES

 Attendance to PADI Rescue Diver Program requires previous certification  on PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or PADI Adventure Diver) and Emergenceny First Response (or other valid and internationally acknowledged first-aid certificate). The trainees must be older than 14 years old. 

ADVANCED TRAINING

PADI Rescue certificate is a prerequisite for professional PADI training programs starting with PADI Diver Dive master program.
